This is where I found the angel created by desire
A dreadfully pale body soak in the water
And no one can shift their eyes
She opens her eyes and touches the glass
Reaches out to where I stand
She is longing for escape
Even freedom would take her life
Like a water tank full of nutrient
Like a freak show never reach the end
Like a canary locked in cage she says:
"You and I are the same kind of slave"
Like a butterfly to a fire pyre
Even if you know life is just a moment
So I see her singing in the night
Becoming ashes at sunrise
This is a failed experiment based on the drugs and pills
She has no sense of taste and no sense of pain
Only signal can reach her brain
